Having the conference in Oakland is cost-prohibitive to any femme not living within driving distance. I understand that as the organizers that they prolly have to make decisions based on information that I don't have etc. etc. etc. But, I'm really sick of having to feel as if I have to travel to find some femme community. It was exciting to have the conference slated for a Southern venue. Also, it would be nice, if the FC made this info more readily available. I've gradually become disenchanted as a femme with most of the femme community at large. Just another drop in the bucket, really.
