The Bios

Amber is a twentysomething pansexual tomboy femme switch on an unceasing quest for ever more knowledge and insight. She runs her own blog, Dark Deep & Deviant in addition to being a contributor on Kinky Sex Link and, of course, this fabulous project! She enjoys bellydancing, reading, watching movies, and of course getting good ‘n’ kinky! Bevin is the producer and host of FemmeCast: The Queer Fat Femme Podcast Guide to Life and also blogs on the same subject at The Queer Fat Femme Guide to Life. She is a flamboyant femmecee, queer high femme, drag king, burlesque and comedy performer. She also co-produces and hosts Gayety, a Queer Comedy Cabaret based in New York City. She is a member of NOLOSE, Fat and Queer NYC and Volunteer coordinator for Jersey City Pride. She was a founding member and producer of the Royal Renegades of Philadelphia, a drag troupe that performed throughout the US and Canada. Her interests include travel, knitting, cupcakes, music, her shih tzu and community building.

Lady M is a recently femme, deliciously queer chubby writer, baker, and feminist who creates a home wherever her bra lands. Currently teaching in Michigan, she is planning to pursue her PhD in the fall of 2009, focusing on fat embodiments and non-normative sexualities in Arab and Arab-American communities. Lady M enjoys good beer, dirty gossip, and smart TV. Miss Avarice is a queer, kinky, inquisitive and sexy femme who’s learning to stamp her feet proudly in high heels, she’s a fierce lover and a loyal friend who hates it when people don’t love themselves as she loves them. Ms. Hinterland is a crafty lady femme who resides in rural area just slightly outside the metro Atlanta urban sprawl. While she’s the prissy, fussy sort and who simply must have on an apron on to cook, she is tough enough to haul heavy objects, own her own Dewalt drill, and cheerfully change a friend’s tire. She has a keen love for junkin’, and warns that anyone who rides in her car had best be ready to lift random old furniture into her hatchback. Roxy Harte is an erotica writer, exploring the emotional and psychological elements of relationships immersed in BDSM, LGBT, and polyamorous lifestyles in her novels. Scarlet Lotus Sexgeek is a genderqueer femme drag queen fagette and queer intellisexual polyamorous switch (cuntpet and Domina). Her gender expression usually comes out within a femme drag queen framework, but she does not believe in confining her gender to one category, or binary gender labels, and is just as comfortable in her pinstripe suit and doc’s as she is in a dress and heels.

She has degrees in both Gender Studies and Psychology, both with an emphasis in sexuality, and is currently working toward a Ph.D in Human Sexuality.
